Michael J. Patrick, 69, MedStar EMS, died in the line-of-duty of COVID-19. A United States Marine Corps veteran, and 30-year postal service employee, Michael’s life of service continued after retirement when he became an EMT. True to his goal of using his time to serve others, his dedication to providing aid and assistance through the global pandemic was evident in his exemplary service during this difficult period. Described as loving, caring, and courageous, he was a loyal and dependable friend with a servant’s heart who enjoyed fishing and loved Auburn University football. Remembered for his unwavering commitment to his faith and family, Michael was a loving husband to Diane, father to Michael Jr., Christopher, Leigh, Gage, Dakota, Sierra, and Cory, and was a grandfather, and a brother.
