Robert A. “Bobby” Jones, 59, Reese & Community Volunteer Fire Company, died in the line of duty of COVID-19. Bobby followed his heart into service and lived his dream for more than 40 years as a career firefighter and paramedic, as well as a volunteer. From his career fire department service to life member as a volunteer, Bobby was a staple in the community and known as a dedicated mentor who leaves behind an enormous legacy. Described as a kind-hearted friend and compassionate soul with an immeasurable passion and dedication for his profession, Bobby made his community and country a better place. Known as a man of courage, with an “unshakable sense of calm” and an infectious smile, he is remembered as having “a way of bringing sunshine into darkness”. A widower, Bobby loved his family including his mother, siblings, stepdaughters, and grandchildren.
