Faye F. Baughman, 58, FDNY EMS, died in the line of duty of World Trade Center Illness. As a 27-year FDNY veteran, Faye spent many hours dedicated to the rescue and recovery efforts at the World Trade Center in 2001 and was the recipient of awards and citations from NYC for her bravery and heroism in the line of duty. Described as approachable and caring, Faye always had a great story to tell. Remembered as a hard worker who made a difference, she left the world a better place, and was a Captain to be proud of. She loved traveling, spending time at the beach, and sharing a good laugh with family and friends. Faye was a dedicated partner and known as big sister to many but was especially proud to be the mother of the joy of her life, Eric.
