Bryant Lee Woodard, 57, Henderson City-County Rescue Squad, died in the line of duty of COVID-19. As the Chief of the Henderson City-County Rescue Squad for more than 30 years, “Woody” was known for his dedication and service to his community. Remembered for his great personality and sense of humor, he is described as a mentor, wonderful person, and good friend who made others feel like family. He always had a good word for everyone and was always willing to help others in need at any time. As a man of faith and dedicated to his family, he enjoyed spending time with his wife of 25 years, Michelle, his children Lauren and Jarrod, his mother, sisters, and brother.
