Courtney Parry, 46, Hawaii Life Flight, died in the line of duty of a medical airplane accident. Known by her colleagues as an “extraordinary nurse…with a vibrant spirit,” she was a tremendous partner, passionate about others, and loved her job. With a sense of humor that made everyone laugh and smile, Courtney was a loving and positive light that brought joy. Described as genuine, loyal, and selfless, she was an exceptional friend willing to do anything for anyone. An energetic, and adventure-loving soul, Courtney enjoyed travel, planned to explore Greece with her daughter, and loved playing with her two dogs. Courtney is remembered as an amazing woman. Beloved daughter of Duane and Kyle Pavel and Dan and Inez Vrana, mother to Sydney, Jarrod, and Kayden, a sister, and a friend. She will be loved forever and will live in those she loved.
