Pablo Guzman, 63, FDNY EMS, died in the line of duty of World Trade Center Illness. Pablo served proudly with the 42nd Infantry Division as a Sergeant in the United States Army National Guard for the State of New York. On September 11, 2001, Pablo responded to Manhattan Box 5-5-8087 World Trade Center and worked tirelessly for months helping victims and their families. An educator and motivator, he is described as having the desire to be both a spiritual and civil servant. Pablo was known as an excellent trumpet player and avid music lover with a vibrant faith in God. He was a devout Christian leader and mentor in the Assemblies of God Royal Rangers Ministry for Boys. Pablo is remembered as a loving husband to Diane, his beloved wife of 36 years, a dedicated father to his son Jonathan, a wonderful son to Mary, and a brother.
